Island Life
He was born on 7 March 1985 in Lhohi of the South Miladhuhmadulu, as the youngest into a big family of 14 members.
At that time his father, Mohamed Abdulla was the island chief, as well as a business man. His mother, His mother, Fathumath Mohamed came from a famous family called ‘Huyhaailaa’ who were descendants of Huyhali didi.
Upto grade 2 he studied in his island school, Lhohi Madharusa which is now known as Lhohi School. He was one of the most outstanding students and the only one who took part in the ribbon cutting in the opening ceremony of the school and this was also his first day at school, truly a natural selection.
Long way to S.Hithadhoo
Due to the quality of education provided in his island he moved to S.Hithadhoo with his sister, for a better education. First of all he joined grade 3 of Medhuvalu School, then next year he studied in grade 4 at Seenu Atoll Education Centre, continued to grade 7 and got promoted to Southern Secondary School (which is now known as Muhibbudhin School), where later on he finished his O’ levels.
During the days in Muhibbudhin School, he did well in studies, got a prefect badge in grade 9 and in grade 10, he was one of the 15 students who got the status of a senior prefect.
In grade 9 he formed the society called ‘COSMOS’ which used to publish 2 leaflets a month. But due to the restrictions by school authority he had to resign from being chief executive officer and with that the society vanished, although it was the biggest society which had over 262 members.
Move to Male’
After O’ level, as requested by his mother he moved to Male’ to join CHSE for A’ level.
He took part in Centrepiece 2003, which was a show held each 2 years and was elected by the students as chief organiser (they preferred to call it, coordinator). He was one of the announcers of the show and also played a role in dhivehi drama.
He was one of the most influential individuals who claimed that senior prefect board was of no value as it was not elected by the students but by influence of the management and refused to take any senior post.
After CHSE, he first worked in Afathis daily as a reporter but due to lack in freedom of expression, he resigned and joined Minivan daily. He worked there for about a month but after hearing the shocking news on TVM on the 6th of August2005 which was read like ‘Hussain Nazeer, Aminath Najeeb and Ahmed Ahbas will be trialed by government because of an article published in Minivan daily’; his family pressured him to resign from Minivan. After accepting the proposal of his family he resigned and joined Ministry of Justice as a legal officer (trainee).
Even though he had worked in newspapers his aim was to become a loyal lawyer for the country. So he thought Justice would be the best place to build his career. At the same time with a secret name ‘NOON’, he worked for the Minivan daily. After working in Justice for 7 months, senior authority started suspecting him of writing about Justice Ministry. He was even harassed by Minister of Justice and questioned by Deputy Minister along with the Directors Board.
After that he was fired.
He was fired on 15 February 2006.
This became one of the hottest news at that time

After this he worked in Crown Tours just to get some money for the expense on the next few months till he would be able to join college.
